Brief introduction to the advantages of two tone printing
two color printing (overprint) can improve the appearance effect by adjusting the intensity and density of the colors used in printing. The appearance effect is enhanced because the use of two colors reduces the contrast between colors. For example, when we have a very bright magenta and print the upper details with darker magenta, it may lose the darker points and enhance the image under the action of bright magenta. This method of achieving the overall effect of the image through halftone dots in the printing details is obviously continuous in hue. POP display and other large design patterns for close viewing can get better results from this method
using the six color process can not only improve the image definition and resolution, but also improve the smoothness of excessive hues. Some colors that are difficult to obtain, such as meat color, barbecue food, water color, sky color, chrome yellow and similar metal colors, can be obtained by adding light tones in two-tone printing
two tone printing also reduces the texture appearance in overprint. On the one hand, it reduces the halftone dot pattern, on the other hand, it expands the range of reproducible tones. Use six color printing ⑥. After the lower collet is reset, the rough halftone will appear less rough. The halftone of 50 lines/inch looks like 100 lines/inch, and the halftone of 65 lines/inch looks like 120 lines/inch or better
printing with two tones of cyan and magenta also expands the dynamic range of the copied image. The dynamic range is the difference between the brightest and darkest areas. In short, it makes the dark tone darker and the bright tone brighter
most printing has a maximum dynamic range of not less than 2.0. This standard is rarely reached in silk printing, generally speaking, it is in 1 8. A dynamic range of 2.0 means that 1% of the bright spots can be restored, and the copied ink can absorb 99% of the light and reflect only 1% of the light (compared with this, the black of silk printing can only fall at 97.5% - 98.4%)
but the dynamic photosensitive range of human eyes can reach more than 4.0 (1/10000 light can be felt, or 99.99% black can be felt). This is why you can see the details of the dark tone in the visual world, but it cannot be achieved in printing. With two tone color mode, we can increase the dynamic range of printing to 2.2 (99.4% black). It doesn't seem like a big deal, but we can see that the black layer obtained is better than the layer obtained by four-color overprint
with two tone printing, we have enhanced the highlight and dark part of the tone range. In the past, when printing lighter soft colors or darker colors, our technology often lost some layers and short tones. Due to the soft appearance, good level depth and dark details, the tone of two tones is relatively longer
taking advantage of the control advantages of two-tone printing on highlight color, we have obtained better control on highlight neutral colors that were difficult to control before, such as beige, sand, ice and water. While striving for beauty and service life, we also hope that consumers like crystal reflection, detergent, yellowish brown, etc. These colors have very few third color components. Two tone printing allows us to use a larger 10 in these color areas Air supply outlet: there are two air supply outlets with a diameter of 50mm (which can also be used to measure voltage, etc.) on the left side of the box. In this way, it can have greater control ability of environment and physical variables, obtain more accurate color reproduction, and reduce the shortening of visible color range
you can also get benefits in the dark part. By using darker colors than the normal primary colors magenta and cyan, we can better control the third color that needs to enhance the surface color of the dark areas. Its main advantage is that we don't need to use too much black to compensate for the lack of darkness. Using less black ink in the third color component can maintain rich colors, such as reddish brown, walnut, crimson, maroon, dark green, indigo, etc. In the four-color mode, the additional black completely covers the colors of these colors to participate in the international competition, showing a flat and black color
the use of two tones can compensate for the difficulties in copying brighter and darker colors, and the color drift phenomenon has also been better controlled. Color drift refers to the color characteristics that will change the appearance when the color tone becomes darker
